JOIN THE ORAL HISTORY TEAM

The mission of Remember WWII is to capture a video testimony of every single WWII veteran who fought for the Allied Countries. Every. Single. One. This is a huge task and we need your help!

Remember WWII is creating oral histories teams that will operate across the different Allied countries so that veterans can have their stories preserved in the quickest amount of time. We are looking for individuals who have camera and audio gear and a sincere desire to make sure the WWII veterans will always be able to share their stories of courage and sacrifice with future generations. 

You do not need to be a WWII history buff or a video professional to be a member of our oral history team. That is because we provide you with a very in-depth question guide to use for any of your WWII interviews and a tutorial video on how to easily set up your camera and get a professional looking video. 

As a member of the Remember WWII oral history team, you will be compensated for your travel and time to conduct the interviews. Your interviews (with your name in the credits and description) will be broadcasted to millions of people on the popular Remember WWII YouTube Channel. After a vetting process your picture and name will be publicly showcased on our website as a proud member of our team which will help prove legitimacy when you are reaching out to the veterans, retirement communities, and other organizations you will need to go through in order to set up an interview. As a member of the Remember WWII oral history team, you will be given leads of veterans that need to be interviewed close to your geographic location. While we would encourage you to seek out veterans in your community (especially because you will be compensated for each one) this would help you immensely.
